Latest News: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the patriots is released on the Sony PlayStation 3 Console, The release of the new Metal Gear Solid title is expected to increase the sales of the Sony Playstation Console, There is also a new gun metal version of the Playstation 3 which many fans of the series will be buying despite the significant increase in price over the other versions of the Consoles. Game critics say that the Metal Gear Solid game is the reason that many people will upgrade from the 6th generation Consoles to the new Next Generation Playstation 3. The demo for the new game Battlefield bad company was released last Thursday and from what the demo has shown the full game will be amazing, The battlefield games have never been about single player but they excelled at multilayer which is what made them so popular, they offered an offline mode where you play against the AI but there was never any story to it, the new battlefield game from what we have seen has an outstanding multilayer as usual but this time includes a single player mode. The single player has you take control of a character called Preston Marlowe who is a rookie in the 222nd Army battalion, the single player demo provided doesn't give much in sight into the main story line however it is good fun to play. The multilayer is where all of the previous battlefield games shine and this is no different, you have a variety of vehicles that you can take control of in the demo and probably a lot more in the full game, in the demo there are 2 different tanks, a jeep, boats and a helicopter. As in the previous games there is still the artillery however it is implemented in a totally different way, in the previous games each team had a commander who controlled supply drops, squad commands and artillery however in the bad company demo there is an artillery gun that anybody can hop in and take control of their teams artillery, in addition to this the support class can unlock a GPS device that can fire the teams artillery on the location they aim at, to make sure that it isn't over powered there is a long charge time after every use. People that play the demo and level up to rank 4 gain an unlock that can be used in the full game when it is released.
